Releasing a Stuck Strap Seal from the GripPack® 114

We had one of the new Signode battery operated steel strap sealers come in this week and I thought this may be of interest to others.  If a strap seal becomes stuck in the jaws of a GripPack® 114 tool, here is a quick method to release it. First, REMOVE THE BATTERY!  After you remove the battery, insert a 6mm hex wrench through the front as shown.  You may have to cut out a small circle of the rubber protective cover to access it.   Then turn it clockwise until the jaws return to their upward home position and the seal will release and fall out.
