Paper Strip Collation
Typically a 33 degree strip, this is the number one type of fastener used in general construction due to its performance and adaptability for the extreme climate changes the Midwest can experience. Packaging Incorporated has a vast assortment of nails ranging in size 2” – 6-1/2”. We’ve got nails made from brite wire, galvanized, or stainless steel and deformed shanks with varying holding power such as smooth and ring shank.
Wire and Plastic Coil Collation
A 15 degree coil is usually the preferred fastener for most crating and pallet shops and siding and fencing applications. It allows the operator to hold more nails in the gun and reduce reload time. The nails come in all forms of brite and galvanized wire, as well as deformed shanks with varying holding power such as smooth, screw and ring. Packaging Incorporated stocks fasteners ranging in size from 1” – 6-1/4”.
Plastic Strip Collation
A 20 degree strip is normally used in general construction as an alternative to a 33 degree paper strip where the climate and work area allows. Nails are made from brite wire, galvanized and stainless steel. They can offer smooth or ring shanks for varying holding power requirements.
Finish Nails and Brads
16 and 18 -gauge finish nails are the most commonly used nails for manufacturing and residential construction finish work. We can step it up a notch to 15, or even 14-gauge nails if the application needs a little more beef. Or, we can suggest a 23-gauge headless pin that barely leaves a nail hole.
